Green tea leaves are skilfully and elegantly hand tied around dried flowers which bloom when steeped in near boiling water. Brewed in a glass teapot they are a memorable tea experience and form a great floral attraction for days following when refreshed daily with cold water. We sell these in their individual packs (see the second image - one bloom per pack) and they make a special gift.
Ingredients: Green tea leaves (China), Dried flowers (China) - jasmine, amaranth, marigold
Michelle's notes: I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon watching flowering teas being made. There are around 100 green tea leaves shaped around the dried flowers, and then formed using a fabric cloth into a very tight ball. It is incredibly skilled work.
