Here is a really simple way to incorporate the flavour of tea into your cooking - tea salt! 

Simply blend loose leaf tea with your favourite salt and start sprinkling. We recommend 3/4 salt and 1/4 tea. You will be creating your very own tea-infused seasoning that can easily be dusted on everything from snacks to salad to seafood. 

Preparation: 

For a coarse salt blend, combine the tea and salt together until well belnded. For a finer salt blend we recomend using a mortar & pestle until you have your desired consistency. The suggested ration of 3/4 to 1/4 can be adjusted according to taste, add more tea if the salt is really strong, and vice versa. Store your seasoning is a spice jar in the pantry away from light and moisture. 

Our suggestion:

Why not try adding Gren Tea Sencha salt to your salted popcorn! Drizzle 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil over 4 cups of popped corn. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of the green tea salt over the top. Toss together, serve and enjoy!
